Why this works
Pistachios are among the highest-protein nuts and carry potassium and lutein, and cacao nibs add flavanols associated with better blood vessel function, with almost no sugar.
Ingredients
- 1 oz pistachios, shelled or in the shell
- 1 tsp cacao nibs
- Pinch of flaky sea salt
Method
- 1Measure the pistachios into a small bowl rather than eating from the bag.
- 2Scatter the cacao nibs over the top and add the salt.
- 3Eat slowly, ideally with a cup of tea and no screen.
Yvette's tip
Buy them in the shell. The shelling slows you down and a single handful ends up feeling like a proper snack.
